Off late, when I boot my machine, and just start to open some folders and files, a strange thing happens. The mouse pointer on the screen becomes jittery and no window can be closed, maximised, restored or opened. Also if I just click the mouse or try to move it, the right click menu on the desktop or Start menu opens and new windows start opening up like mushrooms (esp. the start menu folder). Some programms gets pinned, some gets unpinned, some shortcuts gets created on the desktop. This madness continues for about a minute and then stops only to start again after some moment.

Plz help. I cant work on my machine peacfully.
Is this problem of mouse, OS or virus ?,

Check your device manager for any errors with your mouse and any other hardware.
When the jittering starts have a look in the process tab in the task manager and see what (if any) process is hogging system resources. System Idle Process should be up around 98-99% when everything settles down and no background tasks or apps are running.
Download the latest driver for your mouse. Uninstall the mouse from the device manager, reboot and let windows detect and install the mouse, and run the latest driver/software you downloaded. While you at it defrag the HD if you haven't for a while. A while for me is about 1 WEEK! A fragmented HD won't cause your specific problem, but defragging will help with general system performance which all helps.

    OH!
and update your AV with the latest available DAT file and do a FULL HD scan just to be sure it isn't a virus.
