    It downloaded.

    I tried running it, and a screen came up for just a split second, it looked like the command prompt and I don't think anything was written there. Then it closed out and nothing else happened.

    Do I have to uninstall the existing driver before I can get the installation window for the fresh driver to open?

    New driver installed fine, but the advanced networking messages did not stop.

    Well, at this point....

    In this forum, we make sure, your computer is free of malware and your computer is clean :)
    Because the access to malware forum is very limited, your best option is to create new topic about your current issue, at Windows section.
    You'll get more attention.

    Oh, that's quite alright. I'll keep looking into it.
