Resolved .net framework error

Hi,
Every time i start up my pc i get an .net framework error.
What can i do about it? Thanks!

You should have a Service named 'ASP.NET State Service', and I believe this is where the error may be coming from. You should look into the Event Viewer for the logged error message, perhaps in the 'System' folder.

 

In XP i can't find any performance and maintenance on the control panel.
Where do i find the 'ASP.NET State Service'?

I think it has something to do with the updates. I can't update the . net framework 2.0. These are the errors:

You might want to try installing the standalone update.

It seems you aren't the only one experiencing this issue. If you have a problem installing the above updates, you may have a problem with the Net installation. If Uninstalling and installing does no good, there is a .Net Framework removal tool here.

After that i have to install them again?

 

No, try to install those two updates manually. If they do not install, you may have a problem with your Net framework installation.

I tried to install the 2 updates manualy in the first place, but it failed. Then i uninstalled the framework2 and 3.5, and with the automatic update from windows everything is up to date now. Thanks a lot for your help!!!
