Is there a way to change the Folder Option settings for ALL users on a PC without having to log in as each user? Specifically, I want to show the Hidden Files and Folders for all users.
    Thanks

If your re-ghosting machines setup a (user account) profile how you want it to be for all your users. Then copy this profile using the profiles setting in My Computer to the default user profile in the documents and setting dir (perms = everyone). Delete the current user profiles (on server) this should now pick up the default user profile settings on local machine.

I have also read something about copying the default user profile to the NETLOGON dir (share) on all servers. This maybe away of fixing things for the domain instead of using the local machine default user profile.

The only other way i can think of is if your using mandatory profiles.

    Cheers

That's not exactly what I was looking to do (or maybe I just don't understand how to do what was suggested). I have about 40 users who have established their own profiles on their machines. I don't want to change their entire profile, just the Hidden Files. If I can't change their settings as Administrator, I will have to log in as the user. Thanks.

What i gave you might have been at a higher level than what you need. This might be more in the direction that your looking for: Here and Here (Read the Disclaimer) Once you have added this setting to one machine and all is ok export this setting from your registry to a file. This you could add into your logon script so all users get it a next logon. regedit /s regfile.reg

For 40 users it might be just as easy to do it manually.

    Cheers
