Resolved Deleting corrupt files/folders.

    Thanks for leading me by the hand.<g>
    I have to admit I felt a little beaten down since I had tried so many things with no good result.
    I burnt a copy of Hiren's boot CD and selected the Gparted Linux distro.
    Selected PCMan File Manager which let me see the Files on C: drive.
    Found the TmpDelete folder and selected Delete, confirmed, and that was that.
    Possibly could have deleted them with another distro. as was suggested earlier, but then again I don't know why the Backtrack distro. failed to delete them when it looked like it was.
    Bottom line is that Hiren's Boot CD is a very powerful collection of tools that would take a long time to explore, let alone know how to use and I hope I never have to use it again.<smile>

    Thanks again to everyone for the help and now I feel much better backing up/creating an Image without a bunch of Corrupt Files in it.

    Now to uninstall the dozens of programs that didn't work...
