Moving from XP to Win7 help?

    I have oem win 7 version DVD (newegg) so i have to format the XP drive partition that I'm running on right now.
    I have a USB floppy drive and a old win 98 boot floppy, I tried to have it boot up and it seen the floppy but it would never totally load up for use.

    So I assume I need to boot to something else.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated !!

    You can boot off the Win 7 dvd - select the delete partition option and then format.

    Take a backup of your data before doing anything. Format would delete ALL your data from the partition.
