    How do I add information at the bottom of every email I send from Seamonkey?
    Can it be done?
    Thanks.

    Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad > Type what you want > File > Save As > .txt file (something easy) > My Documents > Save.
    Open your Email > Tools > Account Settings > Attach this Signature box > Choose > browse to My Documents and what you saved > highlight click Open > OK.

    Works in Thunderbird. Cheers Neil.

    In SeaMonkey's Mail, highlight the Account Name on the Left and on the Right, click on "View settings for this account ". About the same window as is in Neil's Thunderbird will open and you can check the box for "Attach this signature:" and then Choose the folder location and select whatever signature file you have previously created.

    A JPG or GIF image may also be used. In other words, if you wanted to scan in a copy of your hand written signature and use it, that can be done. You will have to play around with the sizing of the image.

    If you would like to add some JAZZ to your signature file, copy what is between the lines shown below into NotePad and save it with the extension of HTM and not TXT so you have created an HTML web page file.
    ------------------------------------------------------
    <html>
    <body>

    <font color= "#ff0000" size=-1 face= "arial "><b> E. Ray Smyth </b></font>
    <br>
    <font color= "#0000ff" size=-1 face= "arial "><b><i> The Old Chief </b></i></font>

    </body>
    </html>
    ------------------------------------------------------
    The above code makes E. Ray Smyth in color Red - Size -1 - Arial Font
    The Old Chief color is Blue with an <i> added in the coding to make Italics.

    A few color numbers for HTML are at: http://www.raysmyth.net/htmlhelp/2-by-num.html

    Substitute any color, size or font to create your own. Take out the <br> and 2nd line if desired or add another <br> and another line. A BR creates a Line Break. A <p> is a paragraph if you want space between the lines

    It is important to note when using the HTM file that your message should be sent in "Plain and Rich (HTML) Text" which is under Options and Format when composing a message in SeaMonkey.

    My 2 Cents -- Ray

    Ackerberg,

    I should have told you in my initial posting posting but, if you want to underline your name or any other thing for that matter, put a <u> in front and a </u> at the end of your name.

    Ray
