My computer is not an internet server or anything like that. I was wondering if I could use DNS to specify the ip address of my computer in words.

In network, in the DNS config tab I have the ip's of my internet access there (they had me put them there). There was one space left, so I decided I would put my computer's local ip there so that someone can access my computer using Radmin simply by typing in the dns name instead of the ip address.

Will that work? If not, how can I do it? Or is it possible?

Won't work. Similar to writing a phone number in your regular phone book. No one else can see it unless they are at your house and looking in your book.
