I have this program called Radmin. It is a remote administration utility. But to use it requires tcp/ip. I have tcp/ip configured for both computers including in network and dial up networking for the person I am calling.

I noticed that for dial up server to work I have to call using netbeui. Tcp/ip won't work. It does work when I use them both. But I am thinking that Radmin does not work because the Dial up server program for win98 does not use or support tcp/ip at all. Am I right and is there another solution?

Could you explain in a little more detail. For one thing, I have no idea what "I have to call using netbeui" means.

Responding mostly to ^bump^ this one back up. I haven't used dial-up in so long I've forgotten most I ever knew about it and don't have one to play with. Hopefully someone who does can take this one.

But for internet use and for what I read about Radmin, it will only work with TCP/IP.
