Yes you do. Usually if you click on it, you can tell it to update driver. Let it go on the internet and find them.

    You require ....

    The Chipset drivers
The Video Driver - Device Manager will tell you if you have Intel or nVidia Graphics
Mouse & Keypad drivers - probably just the Touchpad driver
and more - the Dell site is playing up for me.

I suggset you take the option alongside Dell Recommends - Scan your System for Updates.

I tried to download the drivers and get the message it "Cannot download the application. Application is missing required files. Contact applications vendor for assistance." Is Dell having problems, or is it ME again!!

As I understand it this means that files could not be found on the server, i.e. at Dell, so it is not you :)

Do you not have the Dell driver CD which would have come with the laptop?

I bought the laptop on Ebay so no CD's came with it! You know how necessary they are at times like this! It at least goes online, I'm using it now! Guess I'll visit Dell later to let them know of my trouble downloading. I tried to click on them in Device Manager to reinstall and that didn't work either, it just kept searching and searching.

I have no problem downloading any of these files... I also have a D820, only running Windows 7 x64 (what else?).

Select "Download via your Internet Browser ".

It was me after all! I got them to download on the D620! In the Device Manager, I still have two yellow exclamation marks, one beside CSR Blue Core Devices - USB Device, and Windows CE USB Devices - Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus.

You all have been really good help, and I appreciate your knowledge and time! Thanks

CSR Blue Core Devices (Bluetooth) - as far as I can see you require the Dell Driver - Wireless 350 module listed under Network, according to the laptop spec from Dell.

Windows CE USB Devices - Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus - I suspect this is the Conexant application & Driver listed under Communications.

Generally speaking the wrong driver will not install.

Now that you are connected to the Internet have you tried the Scan your System for Updates option - alongside Dell Recommends at the top of the lists.

I got the bluetooth to install. I'll work on the CE USB today. I will run the recommended Scan for System Updates. I think I did that when you mentioned it before. Will get back with the results of the install.

The Device Manager looks good, no yellow! Pete, you have gotten me through this process with great success. Even though I'm a beginner, your instructions were easily followed. I feel less like a beginner now that I've completed this process. You are superior at what you do on this site. I thank you for all you've done. My D820 is running like new!!

I solved the problems of no icons in the system tray, and no internet connection by following Pete's link to Dell. I downloaded the necessary drivers, burned them to a CD and installed them on the D820. I also ran the recommended Scan for updates on the Dell site, as Pete suggested. All problems were corrected after following the direction I received from Pete.
