    How can I add an "edit" button to my google toolbar?

    I doubt that you can - it is not one of the buttons offered by Google.

    What would you want to be editing??

    I have it on my toolbar...my husband is trying to add it to his...it allows you to cut & copy.

    I don't see that available in my Google Toolbar options - Toolbar version .....
    running on IE 9.

    Hopefully another member can shed some light on this foryou.

    resolved...the "edit" button is part of Norton's tool bar.
