I have read all of the threads re. creating a slipstreamed SP-3 disc and am still having a problem. I do not have an SP-2 disc. The disc that I do have is an original WinXP Pro with (I believe) NO SP's installed. I created a folder on my current XP SP-3 system called WXPVOL_EN and copied the CD into that folder. I copied the SP-3 file to my C-disc. I then opened a Command Prompt and entered..
    C:\>WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe/integrate:C:\WXPVOL_EN "
What I am seeing is: 'WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Any suggestions appreciated.

First thing I notice is your path "C:\" where did you download/copy SP3 to?

Slipstreaming the original XP > SP3 is useless anyway!

    From my article:

So you'll have to Slipstream SP2 first. Then after integrating SP2, move to Slipstraem SP3. After that, burn the result to a bootable disk.

Wildfire was quick to point out that I may not have copied the file correctly and he was right. Also I "think" that the XP Pro CD "may" have had SP-1 integrated(but definitely not SP-2). I haven't had the chance to try the slipstreamed disk, but the process (once I located the SP-3 file correctly) completed o.k. I'll resolve this issue and if I have problems..I guess I'll have to find an XP Pro SP-3 install CD somewhere (eBay?).

I'm happy to have pointed out one possible issue, but please do not discount Arie's advice, he's the expert in this field.

It's better safe than sorry, make a 2nd CD using Arie's post and you should be ok. :)

Where does one locate XP Service Pack 2..? I've searched the MS Windows site and all references to SP-2 lead you to SP-3.
