I have been using this www.wmi.org/bassfish/reports/index.html for years with zero problems. Now when I open the page, which opens perfectly, everything freezes, hour glass pops up, and I must go into task manager to end the problem. This is blowing my mind, everything else on the computer works perfectly, I have just cleaned the hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP Pro, with IE 8 and SP 3. I've never seen this before and have no idea what the problem can be, and yes, I've had the server checked on the websites end.

Thank for any help I may receive with this problem,

    Reid

Empty your browser cache. From IE's menu select Safety, click Delete browsing history.

I'd suggest unchecking Cookies before clicking the Delete button.

And go to adobe.com and get the most recent Flash plugin. That page is ad-heavy with Flash based ads.

Yes, I've done the things you suggested with no different results. I went into safe-mode and restored the computer back to its settings seven days prior and it works perfectly. I was sure this could be solved by restoring the computer to an early date but I am one that needs to understand what causes a problem. I guess this is a problem I need to forget because I've remedied it without knowing what brought it about.

Thanks for your time, I really appreciate your's and everyone elses attempt at solving the problem.
