I had to replace my hard drive and when attempting a clean re-install on a new hdd, the os was inadvertantly installed on a partition labelled h:\. The pc works fine with the new install. However, is there a technique or application that would facilitate renaming the partition to the traditional c:\ designation?

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Unplugging all other hard drives and flash drives/card readers would have helped.

There is no method to change a System Drive.... On the other hand - 99% if the time using a letter like H will work just fine.
