Resolved num lock

    I have Windows 7 on my computer. On my keyboard there is a key labeled "num lock ". What is the purpose of that key? Why would anyone press that key? Thank you very much. Stang

    It enables the numeric key pad so that you can type numbers.

    Num Lock has been on keyboards since I can remember. Back in the 95 days and maybe before. I bet that if you push it, you will find out what it does.
