Resolved Computer won't start up

    Well it gave me the BSOD again, with the same error.

    Boot from recovery disk.

    It will present you with a list of options including startup repair, system restore and command prompt:
    [​IMG]
    Select Command Prompt

    Type in:
    bootrec /fixmbr (<--- there is a "space" after "bootrec ")
    and then press Enter

    Type in:
    bootrec /fixboot (<--- there is a "space" after "bootrec ")
    and then press Enter


    Once completed then type Exit, press Enter and restart computer.

    See, if it'll boot.

    It's doing a Windows Memory Diagnostics test now. I'll post the results after it's done.

    And it works again! Everything looks fine. I'm so glad I didn't have to wipe it. Thank you so much for your help!

    Great news!
    But.....I still suspect, it was caused by some infection, most likely, a rootkit.
    I strongly suggest, you create new topic in our malware removal forum to get your computer checked.
