Resolved Microsoft office conversion

    I am trying to download the conversion for Microsoft Office. I have done the control panel route with the add and remove option. Went to Converters and filters and text converter clicked continue and I got the message of Did not complete successfully..:mad: Is there a download site that I can just go to do download what I need? Can anyone help me! Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I run Microsoft Office 2003 and I went to Microsoft Updates and there are conversion/update kits to enable me to open 2007 and 2010 Documents.

    Hi amdgld, glad to know you got the necessary conversions/compatibility packs.
    I receive a lot of Word documents where the sender is using a later version of Word than mine, and after installing the compatibilty packs all the docs open without any problem. Cheers Neil.:D
