Resolved The sound icon has dissapeared from systray.

    How do you restore the sound icon in the systray?

    Check Device Manager for exclamation marks. It could be the sound driver corrupted and the sound device went awol. Even so, uninstall the sound device there and reboot. Windows should reinstall it automatically. Have the actualy driver installation program handy just in case.
