Hi Lis. I would first update to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and see if the issue is resolved. Download the latest version from here.

Also take a look at this thread, I.E. 9 and Flash Player.

If you don't already use it, I suggest you go on-line to secunia.com and run their OSI update checker. It's quick and easy, and it's free. New Flash files were just released yesterday.

If you are referring to the 64 bit version of IE9 then there is no regular Flash available, only a beta.

Appreciate all the info but to no avail thus far. Unable to install Adobe Flash Player that functions? Installed IE 9 that caused the issue. In addition, the spell check is O/A? Please advise. Lis

Open IE9 and click Tools< Manage Add-ons. Scroll down and look for the Shockwave Flash Object which is Adobe Flash Player. Make sure it is set to Enabled. When done click the Close button to close the Manage Add-ons window. Restart IE9 for the changes to take effect.

    Works perfect for me. IE9 x64 + Flash. I haven't checked for a 64-bit spell checker, ieSpell is 32-bit :(

Now, what version is your Shockwave Flash Object? Go to Manage Add-ons it will list the version number.

    I maybe misunderstanding the problem,but
I'm using IE9 and Flash player. It wouldn't work.
I would get a message saying to update Flash player, so I did.
Still had the same problem, I found that if you go up to the Address bar where you see http\\www... follow over to the right you will see a blue circle with a line in it. Lt. click it choose "Turn Off Tracking Protection ".
This will turn off the protection on this site only until you turn it on again.
You will need to do this with each site you want to watch videos.
You should only "Turn Off Tracking Protection" on sites you trust.

I did find that one, but it is not working on 64-bit IE9 in this foum.

I have seen more reports that it is only working on a limited number of Web sites, and not on forum software like this, pretty useless IMHO.

Edit: As reported on their own forum: Known issues with WYSIWYG editors

Issue resolved using procedure below? Spell check is operational? Strange?

Downnload Flash Player with the manual installer

When you download and install Flash Player from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center, the download uses the Adobe Download Manager. Instead of using the Adobe Download Manager, you can download and run the Flash Player installer manually.

1.If you haven't already done so, Uninstall previous versions of Flash Player.
2.Select the manual installer depending on the browser you use. Select one of the following:
•Flash Player 10 ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
•Flash Player 10 Plugin (All other Windows browsers, such as Firefox or Google Chrome)

That version is not the 64-bit beta.
