Windows Vista Windows Update Issues

    Tried running the fix it tool from the adminstrator acccount and tried manually resetting -NO LUCK!!!! Got lots of errors on step 6 - 'make sure the binary is stored at the specified path. The specified module could not be found. msxml.dll failed to load. Got this error on 12 different dll files. Step 7 error "dll helper netiohlp.dll not loaded'. Step 9 error starting wuauserv "module not found. "

    In your place I would backup any personal files, then wipe the drive & reinstall the OS.

    I agree with Arie on this. I did some more googling and there doesn't appear to be any other solution other than reinstalling Vista. :(
