Resolved disabling security settings for live mail

    My live mail atachments (files) are returned because of "mail security settings ". I am at a loss here since I never set any security on live mail. Can anyone advise? Thanks.

    If you mean that you receive messages with attachments that WLM won't let you open, check the security settings:

    In Windows Live Mail, click on the square icon on the upper-left corner with the small down arrow next to it.

    In the menu that opens, go to Options and in the menu that then opens, click on Safety options.

    Poke around on the various tabs to make sure everything is set the way you prefer, being sure to click OK to save any changes you make. Be sure to look on the Security tab for the settings relating to attachments.

    Sounds like the recipient is blocking certain files. Nothing you can do about that.
