I am currently working on problems with my blackberry phone. One of the problems though is when I go to sync my phone with my BlackBerry Desktop software. When syncing my contacts with my phone windows 7 keeps wanting me to make changes to my contact list on my phone. I get double contacts and it is even pulling up pictures as contacts that it is saying is in my windows account. I have tried to go over my list in windows to see what the problem is. Although I'm not very computer savy so I might not even be doing that right. I am just not lucky in that area either I guess. Is there any way to find out if it is the BlackBerry software or the windows software. I was thinking about uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but I dont know how. Do I need an update for my windows?

Which OS version is on the Blackberry, which version of desktop software and how are you connecting?

I have no issues syncing using desktop 6.0.0.43 and OS 5.0.0.592 via bluetooth

    smart virus beats master reset

This is all I can find out about my phone. I am using my USB cord to sync my phone to my desk top. I am not sure of how to do it with a bluetooth nor do I have one. Is this the information u needed? If not can u tell me how to find it? I use Internet Explorer as my browser. I'm also using a net book if that matters.

melnmatt, you'd probably get better assistance from the blackberry forums I pointed you toward earlier. Have you tried asking there?
