I hope I'm doing this right. First ever, post. Went thru FAQS and didn't find anything.

Problem is font size. Changed to Seven a few days ago, and can't get the font size of web pages, and game pages, to consistently stay on same font size. Especially hard on game pages because there's no access to Zoom on most of them. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Did you try Tools\Internet options\Accessibility. Put a check in the box Ignore font sizes specified on webpages.

    Oh my gosh that's small.
The average font size for Web page paragraphs is 12-13.

Methinks Seven refers to Windows 7

Yes, that was meant to read Windows 7.

Forgot to mention using Firefox. There is no Internet Options/Accessibility buttons to click on. Unless I'm doing something wrong...

You're not doing anything wrong. Internet Options is in Internet Explorer.

Does this font problem arise only in Firefox? If so I'll move the thread to that forum.

    For Windows 7, try this:
rt click Desktop > select Personalize > select Display link in left frame > change to 125%

It is happening in both Chrome and Firefox.
Tony T's and lj50's advice both worked on webpages, including all the games setup pages. But the actual game page is still miniscule font sized.

The game I'm alluding to is Literati by Yahoo, running Java script. Is that what might need to be tweaked? And is that possible?

Thank you for your help lj50, and Tony C! Appreciated much! Kirk.

Yahoo games are powered by Java (not the same thing as Javascript). There are no font settings for the Java browser plugin. There may or may not be Yahoo font-size settings for games at the Yahoo site, but I doubt it, the font-sizes used in games will be hard coded into the game program, written using the Java programming language.

Some Java appplets can be right clicked to reveal a context menu with Settings options if the game contains such code. Unsure about Yahoo Java games though.

Perhaps pushing your Ctrl key and your + key will adjust the font...

Thank you RoyalT1. That works good on all web pages, except for game pages. At least yahoo game pages. But I'd forgotten about Control +. Thanks for the reminder!!

My wife's an avid Yahoo gamer. According to her the fonts in some games are very small and cannot be adjusted. Her solution: squinting!
