Hi, Many websites that I go to are not supporting IE6 anymore and suggest that I update my browser.
Any suggestions for an alternate browser that will open ok and not crash
on my pc once it's downloaded.
    Thanks

Thanks, I have downloaded Firefox in the past and it keeps crashing most of the time.
The other browsers you mentioned are not compatable with Windows 98.

Oops sorry. Yes only Firefox is compatible with Win 98.

Download it from here, uninstall the old one & install it.

I believe I used K-Meleon when I was on the tail end of my 98SE experience.

    http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

It's a nice, lightweight browser from the mozilla people.
