can't delete control panal entry

I have two Samsung 'tocco lite' USB1 drivers which installed when I tried to install the Samsung PC Studio software which came with my new phone last year. The USB link didn't work and I have never been able to delete the useless drivers. I didn't need the USB connection as it happens as it links up with Blue tooth beautifully WI-Fi . It just bugs me that they won't go away. I have a feeling that the drivers may indeed be gone( they are obsolete in any case) but their entry is still there.....Help anybody.

 

Have you tried uninstalling the PC Studio software? You might have full Bluetooth functionality without it.

Uninstalling the software may remove the USB device, then you can decide if you still need it, in which case reinstall, but check for any updates for the software at Samsung.

This is the long way, Steve's suggestion is the short way if you just want it to "go away ".

Try to work out if there might be a problem in the USB system.

It might even be a "virtual" connection set up by the software and is only a PC Studio problem.

PC Studio was deleted as I didn't need it but it didn't delete the two Driver entries in control panel. As for the *.cpl Steve, I'm afraid I didn't recognise any of the entries as relating to my stuff!! maybe just me being daft? but I guess as nothing mentioned USB or Samsung then maybe it didn't list them. It's still a mystery......
