    Hello,
I can't print documents from Word neither Excel 2000, but there is no problems with Outlook. I have tryed a repair from the installations CD, but it didnt help at all. A print test from the printer itself works fine... It's a HP 4270.
If I have to uninstall the whole Office package, how do I save my mails and accounts properties?
    Thank you for your help!

What happens/doesn't happen when you try to print from Word? Do you get an error?

Yes I get an error: Printer not ready, and i get the samme error with Excel. But i can print from Outlook without problems at all. Other programs (like Adobe PDF Reader) work fine as well.

Instead of using the Print icon on the toolbar, in Word click on File>Print.

In the window that opens, if the printer you want to use is not selected in the drop-down list at the top, expand that list, select the printer you want, click OK.

If that was the problem, do the same thing in Excel.

That printer should then remain as the default for both applications.

    Problem solved:
Comodo Internet Security was the source of the problem. When I disabled the function Defense+Security level, both programs could print... But I dont know how to let Comodo understand that these programs are legit... Everytime I set Defense+ to its normal level, Word and Excel cant find the printer... Has anybody some suggestions?
