I am on windows XP Pro SP3. I have MS Office Pro 2007 installed.

I have a powerpoint that was sent to me that has a picture on
one of the slides that is a text picture not wrap around etc...

Is there any way to copy just the text or convert the picture to
    text.

I have tried everything but can't come up with a way to do it.

Have you tried opening the presentation in PowerPoint and copying the image or text from there?

If it is really a text picture the odds are that it will be a jpeg which you will find cannot be edited except by creating another identical image from scratch in an image editor - or by simply typing the text into Word? ....

Or have I misunderstood the issue ??
