    Hello,
I am finding that the Wacom Intuos 3 A4 tablet I am using often stops working after a period of time, it varies from perhaps 45 mins to an hour or more. After it has stopped, I go to the Control Panel and click the Wacom Tablet properties, but it just says 'File not found'
If I reboot, the tablet works again and the properties are available again.

I am using Windows 7 Home edition 64 bit and it seems to happen mainly (perhaps only) when using Lightroom 2 or 3.

    I have tried the following:

    1. I have uninstalled the Wacom driver, rebooted and then installed the latest driver from the Wacom site.

    2. Gone to device manager -> USB -> root/hub -> properties -> power management and turned off the option to 'allow the computer to turn off the device'

    3. Under Services> Local, I have tried stopping the TabletServiceWacom and then starting it again.

    4. I have also tried another Wacom tablet and pen, but it also happens in the same way.

So far nothing seems to work apart from rebooting.

    Can anyone help please?

    Martin

Thanks very much for the referral, I hadn't picked up that thread. I will try the many suggestions there.

    Partial resolution

    Hello,
I found that there was a newer driver on the web so I tried that first and it has helped, not solved it, but it is certainly better. I had trouble getting an older driver to work at all, so I will stick with this for a while.
    Thanks for your assistance.
    Martin
