I have used Windows Live and Thunderbird for some time and have now changed back to good old trusty Outlook Express 6. My problem: My toolbar buttons default to a width where my "Create Mail" button is truncated to "Create..." Toggling the Large and Small Icons option corrects this and widens the buttons, but the Toolbar shrinks again when OE is reopened.

Right click on a blank space in the toolbar and unlock it. Drag what ever is in that line to the right. Sounds like you have to much on that line. Usually it will give you the double down >> and show what else is on that row. Just a thought.

Hi there, MrBill, many thanks for your reply.

I am only using five buttons on my Toolbar, so the bar itself is only half full. Right-clicking on a blank space in my Toolbar gives me three options. Two are for displaying the Toolbar and Views Bar and the third to Customize. How do I unlock the Toolbar?

    Hi again, MrBill,

Yes, that is my link. I have Googled a lot, but no one seem to know the answer. No big deal, I suppose.
