Running win 7 ultimate 64 bit......a few minutes ago I accidentally hit a key(don't know which one) on the keyboard and now have a corrupted desktop.....(I was viewing a pdf file) and somehow the pdf file is overlaid on the desktop and the entire desktop screen is white instead of the normal blue. How do I get rid of the pdf overlay and get my normal desktop back? I'm sure this is probably something simple-stupid but I just can't seem to resolve it....I have already done a system restore with no luck so any suggestions are appreciated..... Thanks....rocknroller

In Windows 7 Start Search box type Personalization and click [Enter]. Now you can change the Desktop background, or Theme.

    Arie,
Thank you so very much. I thought that I had tried this from the control panel but maybe not. Anyway, your suggestion was 100%.....but all the monkeys (me) aren't in the zoo are they?
Thank you again for your kindness and assistance...rocknroller
