IE new windows blank

Whenever I click on a link that opens a new window, it comes up "blank ". All the toolbars are there but the page itself is transparent and just hangs. I was using IE 6, I tried repair then when back to 5.5, it still happens

Tried all the stuff in that article, it didn't help.

 

Run Spybot.

 

Just ran Spybot, it didn't find anything. I regualrly run Pest Patrol and Ad-aware

Upgrading to the latest Nvidia driver fixed this problem.

 

eznoh--I see from another BBS that your installing the latest nVidia driver cured another (different) IE window problem.

How did you think to change the driver?

 

I started using Mozilla and it would occasionally crash. I posted a request to the bugzilla group and they suggested installing the lastest driver.
