So, I've installed Win7 64-Bit Ult. and I tried to install a VST instrument, but Cakewalk won't pull it up when it runs the VSTi scan. It DOES install the DXi version ironically. Here's my question...

When I tried to uninstall it from the Control Pnl it tells me I need Admin. privileges. WEIRD! I've even used the utility that gives you access, and privileges to any file/folder (Can't think of it now). NOTHING will give me privileges, so I can't uninstall DR-008.

    Any Help? PLEEZE![:(]

Hi gplea. I assume you are running on an Administrator account? Do you have UAC enabled?

If you can't uninstall the program from the control panel then download and run the portable version of Revo Uninstaller. (Its at the very bottom of the download link)

Extract the contents of the folder and then right click on the revo uninstaller exe file and click Run As Administrator. Once Revo Uninstaller opens highlight the program you want to remove and uninstall it.
