Resolved How do I transfer favorites from 1 pc to another?

    When I was running 2 Winows XP o/s it was not aproblem. I just copied the contents of the favorites files from one pc and then pasted them into the Favorites file of the other one.
    However I am now running Win 7 on the new pc.Even though I copied and pasted the files inthe old way, they do not appear under favorites in Win7.
    Both pc's are running IE8.
    Any suggestions?

    Guess you missed my update. See my previous thread. I made a mistake by giving you directions using my own version of ie (9), yours is 8. Follow Microsoft HOW-TO link and that will get you there. Sorry for the temporary confusion.

    Also, not sure, but if showing the menubar, look under file and see if import/export are options there.

    I am checking it now ..thanks..although I can not find where to rightclick on this bit....

    click the arrow next to the Add to Favorites

    There is No arrow next to it when I click the add to favorites part :eek:
