Win7 - Outlook 2007 has stopped synchronizing with AOL mail

    Hi, I have been using Windows 7 with Outlook for several months. All of a sudden, I have not been able to use it and receive the error message:
    Synchronizing folders for tschnatz@*.com has reported Error # 0x800CCC0E
    Error: Cannot connect to the Server.

    Believing this was a Security Software problem, i worked with Norton till we uninstalled the security software completely and the problem was still there.
    This is very frustrating - especially since it previously worked without any problem for months.

    That is weird that it stopped working all of a sudden. Maybe AOL changed something on their side? You might want to recheck your server settings. According to this AOL Help Page the outgoing server SMTP port should be 587.
