    Problem: recurring problems sending emails.
After I try to send a mail, I get a "System Administrator" mail stating that "None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient" and quoting an email address (from the bottom of the list of my accounts) that was not used to send the original email. I have set up accounts in Outlook as recommended by ISP……pop3 port 995; SMTP port 465.
On repairing the account, the SMTP port is automatically changed to 25. If I then try to send an email to, say, 3 addresses, 1st will go OK but other 2 will fail as above.

Have lost count of the times I have repaired accounts/tested them successfully then had mail failures.

    Help!

    error message

Hi - and happy new year!

The error comes in an email from "System Administrator" subject "Undeliverable: ...." and addressed to "chipnpin.com" which is my web site from which I receive (but don't send from) emails.....(the email address is sales@chipnpin.com).

    Text from "System Administrator" is:---------------------------

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

    Subject: hi
    Sent: 20/12/2010 06:52

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

    ****@talktalk.net on 20/12/2010 06:52
None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

----------------------------------The talktalk.net is a valid email account (I have blanked out the first part).

The address that the email quotes (e.g. chipnpin.com) isn't fixed - it is sometimes another website suffix I have....but it has never been a full email address, just a web suffix.

The email setup was running all fine for ages, but difficulties seemed to start not long after virginmedia (ntlworld.com) starte using webmail. They say they do not support Outlook 7 so cannot help!!

    Thanks for taking an interest.

Sorry, I can't make heads nor tails of this.

What I would want to see is the error message you get from Outlook at the time you send the message.

If the message sends from Outlook without error, obviously Outlook isn't the problem in that case.

    Ah.........

Thanks for the input. There is no error message from Outlook so with your feedback that seems to point to Virginmedia's mail system not liking Outlook - ever since they switched to a webmail setup. It doesn't solve my problem but at least it eliminates an important part.

I guess I switch mail system or ISP!

Thanks very much for your help.
