Ok...I went to the Java site via the Kapersky link. The page it sent me to said that it recognized my browser as being 32 bit and I needed both 32 and 64 downloaded. Downloaded the 32 bit version and VIOLA!!

Kapersky is now running, I will post when it concludes...

    BTW...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year :). Very strange. I suggest you upload the files that ESET found to Jotti's.

Please go to Jotti's or to virustotal and have those files scanned. Post the results back here.

Not sure I did this correctly...From the "Browse prompt" I just clicked on the ESET.Txt file that was created, and got 0 of 19 on Jotti and 0 of 43 on Virustotal.

No, you need to browse to the actual files in the ESET.txt file, or all that is being scanned is that text file.

Copy and paste (one at a time) the following into the Jotti scan window:

    C:\HP\HPQWare\aim_icq\triton_de_de\setup.exe
    C:\HP\HPQWare\aim_icq\triton_en_gb\setup.exe
    C:\HP\HPQWare\aim_icq\triton_es_es\setup.exe
    C:\HP\HPQWare\aim_icq\triton_fr_fr\setup.exe
    C:\HP\HPQWare\aim_icq\triton_it_it\setup.exe
    C:\HP\HPQWare\aim_icq\triton_nl_nl\setup.exe
    C:\Users\BIG T\Desktop\New Folder\registrybooster.exe

I initially tried this, and both tools do not allow "Copy & Paste" You must use the "Browse" function to locate the targeted files you want to scan...I am unable to located any of the files listed above? Obviously they are located somewhere on the "C" drive...I can find C:\HP\...but not the "\HPQWARE\aim_icq\triton_? They look to be some sort of language files, just can't locate them...I uninstalled\deleted the registry booster.exe program. I new run of ESET shows the C:\HP files stilll there, the registry booster is now gone.

I would imagine that the files are false positives and only wanted to make sure. Hidden files are set to show?
