Resolved Linux Live CD

I keep reading favourable comments on the things this CD can do. Is there a good place to download this from and gather some more information on what it can do and how to put it to good use.

 

Ubuntu is an excellent distro here

A smaller download, but a good starter version is Puppy Linux here

 

For someone who has never used Linux

download the iso -- burn the image file to cd---boot from cd and most hardware will work out of the box ...give it a try....it is slow from the cd but will run perfect from install...

I recommend MEPIS available from www.mepis.org. It's very user friendly. The latest release is 10 something, but I've found recent changes to be intolerable, so I use 8.0.15.
