Resolved Need to Uninstall .Net Framework 3.0 and Net Framework 3.0 SP1

Windows XP SP3

I recently purchased Nero Multimedia Suite 10. The install program wants to install an order version of Net Framework 3.0. When it encounters the newer version it generates an error: "Cannot install .Net Framework 3.0 exiting Setup ".

I contacted Nero about this. They told me the workaround is to uninstall versions of Net Framework greater then Net Framework 2.0.

When I try to use "Add Remove Programs" I get a message "Cannot Uninstall Net Framework x.x applications depend on it to work properly ".

I've already gone to the MSDN forum with this and haven't received a reply. I've tried going into Safe Mode to do the uninstall with no luck.
