When I downloaded and installed the 5.1 update to reader I started getting these errors when opening the application.
"Plug in failed to initialize "
    "Accord32.exe error "
I tried uninstall and reinstall, and even went back to the previous version 5.0, but same problem persist. Any ideas on how to fix ?
    Thank's

I went to the Adobe Reader forum and found this answer to the same problem you're having:

"I was receiving an error message "plug-ins failed to initialize" and had very few features available when using the reader. After un-installing the program and re-installing twice, I found this forum and found the suggestion to uninstall and delete the adobe folder, then re-download 5.1, all works fine. thank you. "

Another cause given for the problem is not disabling your anti-virus software before installing.

Let us know if you get the problem fixed.
