If those are the ideas that they're bringing to life, I'm also not "getting it." Speed appears to the the ultimate god. Let's get there fast... no... faster! Life has become a race. We eat fast, we drive fast, we cheat on our sleep and we end up sick fast.

PS: I also "don't get Facebook ". I've long since given up on it as a means of communicating with family and friends. I'd rather talk to them on the telephone or write to them.

But... it was a "fun" thing to watch. I'll admit to that.

Social networking sites like Facebooks are intended as a means of sharing data with more than just one person at a time. By data is meant, typed text representing one's thoughts, ideas, feelings, images, videos, etc. As well, social networking sites integrate with applications that run on the computer, smart phones, other social networking sites & other cloud services such as email, google docs, etc.

While I am not a Facebook advocate, I do use it, if anything, for the humor in what I read and write there. I don't have nor want a smart phone & I don't use cloud services.

But it is a way to reach people that you may otherwise not be able to.

I know what it is Tony, I still don't get it though ;)

I much prefer the Telephone/Instant Messaging/SMS/Email/Writing or even the good old fashioned face to face visit :)

For what it's worth I do have a smart phone and couldn't live without it now but facebook isn't on it :)

IMHO, the majority of FB users are under 30 yrs old, probably younger. They lack the recollection of: party lines, not having to dial an area code, tv with antennas, pay phones & other older forms of communication. Kudos to them.

As for the video, it's an ad from Batelco, a telecommmunications company. Pretty cool ad.

Top marks Tony - you realized it is an Advert. Great work by the Graphics artists. I enjoy the Technology of today and will continue to do so as I age gracefully. Cheers to all for Xmas. Neil.:D
