Disabling personalized menus on IE 6

Hi! Does anyone know how to disable the personalized menus on IE 6? I really, really don't like that feature but I can't find anywhere on IE 6 menus to disable it. I was able to disable it on Windows XP and I thought that would also disable on IE 6, but the personalized menus are still there...any suggestions? Thanks!

 

Are you talking about favorites? I'm sorry I don't recognize the term "Personalized Menu ".

 

Personalized Menus...

...are the menus that collapse and expand. Instead of showing the entire contents of the menu, the program only shows you a couple...if you want to see the entire contents, then you have to click on the double arrows the bottom...very annoying. And it has nothing to do with how many items there there on the menu, it will only show you a couple. I think this was introduced in Microsoft Office a while back...I want to turn this off on IE 6. It happens on the Favorites menu...

 

Ah yes. Now I do remember that little annoyance as I had W2000 for a short time. As I remember it would make your menu show in bold type if you used the program often and wouldn't show the rest.

I am using 98se now and don't have the problem but you might find something at Annoyances.org. I'm looking for the link now.

Those menus are annoying! Funny thing is that I swear I looked up and down preferences and I never saw it! Thanks!
