I use a desktop and a laptop. I almost always open up my pop3 mail on my desktop with Outlook 2000. It used to be set that when I'd open up the laptop the mail would still be downloaded from the server to the laptop.

Something has changed and it's not working now. So I have to forward my mail from the desktop to the laptop.
    What setting has changed?

    Thanks.

Storing messages on a server is useful if you need to read e-mail from more than one computer. When you log on to your account from a different computer, Outlook Express downloads messages according to the options you have set. You can store messages on a POP3 server. If you have HTTP e-mail, or IMAP e-mail, your messages are always kept on the server.

On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
Click the e-mail account, and then click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab, and then select Leave a copy of messages on server.

This is from Outlook Express. I'm only guessing it would apply to Outlook?:)

Thanks Bill, I'll give that a try...I'm actually not at the machines right now so I'll try it later.
    Thanks again.
