Resolved Windows 7 - One Note - Microsoft Windows Desktop Search (WDS) System Instal

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. Have the OneNote that was installed automatically by Windows. For some reson, now quite frequently, when I open OneNote to add/chnage information, I get a message that READS: "One Note - Microsoft Windows Desktop Search (WDS) System Component
Needs to be reinstalled properly. Reinstall or repair - from Microsoft Download Center.
But when I go there I cannot find anything.
This is not a serious problem for me, but I'd like to get rid of the message prompt. I can use your help. Thanks you.

 

Yes, but when I go the web page in your link, it does not give me a link to download the Windows Search for my Windows 7.
Also, you are right, it may have been loaded by my Office 2007 when I installed it few months back.
But, the message i get " "One Note - Microsoft Windows Desktop Search (WDS) System Component Needs to be reinstalled properly. Reinstall or repair - from Microsoft Download Center." refers me to go to the MS Download Center, and when I go there I don't find anything about Windows Search!!!
It is just frustrating when MS gives these messages that are NOT actionable!

Thank you Pete for your help.
I did use my Office 2007 CD to Repair the Office Installation, but that did not eliminate the problem. After a few seconds of opening the OneNote window, I get the Warning message box!
Also, I did try to download and install that Windows Search 4.0, but when it tried to install it, it came back saying it is not for my Operating System which is Windows 7 Home - 64 Bit.
I guess I will just live with this annoying situation until --- who knows ... Thanks again.

Thanks again. I really am at a loss as to what's going on. I just went to start/run/msconfig and checked the Services Tab, and noticed that Windows Search service is STOPPED. I had to find a way to start this service, and when I did, I get the following: Windows could not start the Windows Search service on Local Computer. Error3: The System cannot find the path specified.
I don't know whether this has anything to do with my Warning Message for OneNote. I also see that my Search function in most other places like Windows Live Mail, and in any Folder are working just fine! Don't understand. I did run the REPAIR option on my Office 2007 and that did not change anything.

 

Nothing worked. So I contacted Microsoft who had to reinstall W7. Now everything works. Problem solved.
