I was just surprised that SM portable (which I am using at this moment) was a third of the size of SRWare Iron! In fact, it's smaller than Firefox. I make it about 74 MB with a ton of add-ons & skins.

I have no idea what SRWare Iron is, but the contributions of addons and skins have nothing to do with the program itself. And, are we talking about the installation file, or the size on the drive? The portable and regular Firefox, and regular Seamonkey are of the same size, more or less. The Firefox Portable is larger than the regular, but only because it includes the Data folder, which is the profile. Deduct the Data folder, and they are the same size.
As installed, the regular Seamonkey is a bit larger than Firefox.

I was probably counting the entire folders on the drive. It just goes to show that I don't know what I'm on about. I make SM portable 162 KB on disc. SRWare Iron was at least three times that though.

SM portable is only 162 KB!!!!? I doubt that. Try a little higher. Even my zipped version of SM 2 is about 42 megs big.

Anyways, you really can't compare Iron to SM. Iron is browser only; whereas SM is browser, email/news application, webpage maker, and chat.

What am I measuring then? I right-clicked (Properties) on the application in the E drive & that was the figure I got. You're right though, according to this.

Which is interesting when you compare the size of SeaMonkey to the stand alone Firefox when you think about it. ;)
