When I try to click on a URL either in a shortcut or a message I get an error that states "There was a problem sending the command to the program ". Copying the URL into the browser (FireFox) results in a quick connection. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

This may or may not be a Windows 7 issue, but check .....

Orb > Default Programs > Set your default programs - that Firefox is the default.

BTW if you set Internet Explorer as the default browser does the issue remain? If not ....

When you switch back to Firefox as default is the issued resolved?

The problem has gone away and I am not sure why. However, while I was trying a number of things my ISP went down so something I did, without knowing it, solved the problem. When the ISP returned ---- no problem.
