    Hi,

I discovered that my WIFI on my laptop is no longer switching on. i tried the button at the front and the F1 button, but no joy. Is there any other way that i can switch this on, or anything i can do that will re-install this function? I am using a USB moden for internet, but have lost the ability to use WIFI. Thanks in advance.

This is what it says in the manual:
This what it says in the FAQs at the Fujitsu support website:
Check in their downloads for a new version of the "Launch Manager ". I would uninstall the old one, then install the new version.

Here is a link to the manual, be sure to put a check in the box for "I accept the license conditions ".

It will tell you how to go into the BIOS, but I can't see that it mentions a setting for enabling/disabling the wireless adapter.

    Well done getting it going.

The settings you have made to try to make it work may be causing it to stay on.

Does the switch turn it off?

If it is sensing wireless networks in the area the Launch Manager will try to connect to them, you may have to reconfigure it or exit the program and restart it again manually when you need it.

Maybe the switch has had some physical damage. That might be why it was off and now that it is on, you can't turn it off.

The four places I can think of are the Launch Manager, the function key, the switch and the BIOS. Maybe look around in the BIOS for a setting, you might have to use that to toggle it now.

Ok, but i doubt its the switch as the F1 button doees not work either, will look for a BIOS setting. Thanks for all your help to date.
