Wow! I remember 1.1.12. Are you running a Nix OS?

So, how come you haven't upgraded? If you don't mind me asking.

Why are you asking? I am, always, testing new versions, but, unless it has something great to offer, I would not bother with it. At this point, I am using four versions of Firefox!
By the way: 1.SeaMonkey 2.1 Beta 1 is based on the same Gecko layout engine as the 3.6.x branch of Firefox, version 1.9.2
    2. Mozilla is dropping support of Seamonkey1.x, including SM1.1.19.
I have not checked what the present Seamonkey is, but it is probably based on Firefox 3.5.x.

what do you mean, they already have dropped it. Just because they stopped supporting it, doesn't mean you still can't use it. It still works great, except for a site like google docs. Then again, I don't use it so it doesn't bother me.

because some of my Chrome Stylish scripts won't work in SM 2, and they forsure won't work in SM 2.1. Lastly, two of my addons -- multizilla and toyfactory -- aren't compatible with SM 2.

The current release is breaking pages for me. Anyway, I often like to try the SM betas as they are relatively stable & I like the browser. I wondered how anyone else was finding the beta.

Yes I believe that the K-Meleon beta uses the same version of Gecko.

    I know. ;)

I am using the Toy Factory theme with SM 2.0.10. But, it is not listed among the Themes which work. I am using the Nightly Tester Tools addon to achieve compatibility, but I have no idea how it worked, except that it does.
As for 2.1 b1, I can't comment. Does it break pages with it, and not with 2.0.10? Do you do the side by side comparison, and have both installed?

Kairo's website has some versions of skins that are compatible with the beta. I have the beta installed on both of my computers but use the portable SM 2.0.10. The beta is quite stable & only seems to have some problems in You Tube at the moment. The stable release also seems to have some minor loading problems in You Tube. My guess it is the Ajax scripting giving it a problem, this caused the 'Twitter Bug' problem with AJAX web pages that use XMLHTTPRequest to continuously send data back and forth from the server to you in the background. Because the network traffic never stops, the throbber code thinks that the page is still loading. Well, that's what Phil Chee told me online once anyway. I believe him. The Twitter bug happens on the normal release on my 'My Yahoo' page but the portable & beta are fine.
