Hell all, my main machine Win 7 (connected via wire on my LAN) has 3 HDD, which I share out across my LAN with full permissions enabled.

I recently changed the password on my main machine and lost connectivity from my other machines (two laptops one desktop) I can see the shared drives on the network tree but when I try to connect it tells me I don't have permissions to access the drives.
My feeling is that this is due to the password change, when I originally connect to the networks shares from the other machines I was asked for a username & password, when suppled connection was granted. I did tick the remember password box at this stage.

How do I evoke the username & password dialog box again to re-authenticate with the new password?

    Cheers

Okay Guys...for those of you interested I found a resolve to my problem.....right clicking on the problem drive choose properties, security, in the group or user names box I had to add a user called everyone...and hey presto it provided the permissions necessary to share out the drive, why it didn't happen when I originally shared the drive is anyones guess... Maybe this can help someone else...
