64bit moonlight on Win 7

    Hi folks,


    Win 7 64bit
    IE 8


    Has any folk tried 64 bit moonlight on Win 7 64 bit. Does it work? If YES please advise where to download? Moonlight website? TIA

    If it is what I think it is (have to guess here, since its not clear what you mean), namely http://www.mono-project.com/Moonlight there is NO reason to have this on Windows.

    On a Windows System you install Silverlight, on a Linux/Unix system you'll have to install Moonlight for the same functionality.

    Thanks for your advice.

    I can't find 64bit Silverlight although 32 bit version works on 64 bit Win7. I wonder whether 64 bit Moonlight can work on 64 bit Win7 similar to Mono, a cross platform package.

    That's what gets me mad at Microsoft! They preach to everybody else about needing 64-bit compatibility, yet they don't lead by example!

    I think your SOL on 64-bit until MS gets their act together...
