cyclical redundancy error!!!

    i'm trying to copy some cd's to my hd and i get this error "cyclical redundancy error" does anyone know what this means and can i get around it???

    I'd guess that the CD's are damaged. The link posted by Kevin in this thread may help!

    i know that or the file or the cd is damage, that i'm certain, what i don't know is if there is a way to copy the file to the HD, because windows/dos doesn't letme copy damage files. but what i was hoppin for was to copy the files with the errors..
